Fishing off the coast of Rhode Island with Dr. Glasser. It was a good day for cod and haddock!
Meet Dr. Stephen Glasser, Au.D.
Owner/Director of Long Island Audiology
Although Dr. Glasser enjoys a good fishing trip, there is nothing more challenging than applying his 20 years of experience in Audiology to his everyday practice. Steve has helped thousands of people in Long Island and the five boroughs. Patients range from pre-school age children to rock musicians to seniors on a budget. How does he do this? Dr. Glasser listens to his patients. He discusses their concerns with them, counsels them on a course of action and uses state-of-the-art technology to come up with a 'good fit' for their lifestyle.
Dr. Glasser is an expert in diagnostics as well as in the fit of digital and conventional hearing aids. He also works with occupational hearing conservation programs.

Hiking the Grand Canyon with Dr. Judlowitz.
Meet Dr. Sharon L. Judlowitz, Au.D.
Senior Audiologist
Dr. Sharon's first Audiology experience began 20 years ago. It was at the Helen Keller National Center for the Deaf/Blind youths and adults in Sands Point, NY where she learned in order to help the hearing impaired individual one needed to look at the whole person. Sharon has a special propensity for working with patients with hard to fit needs. She hears her patients. Adults and children alike benefit from Dr. Sharon's excellent diagnostic skills, proficiency in hearing aid fitting and superb counseling ideas.
- Adjunct Professor, Au.D. Consortium of St. John's, Adelphi and Hofstra Universities
- Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology
- Fellow of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology
- Certified Member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Dr. Judlowitz earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salas University (formerly the Pennsylvania College of Optometry School of Audiology). She received her M.A. in Audiology Communication Sciences from Queens College, and completed her Bachelors at Ithaca College where she was awarded her degree as a Teacher to the Speech and Hearing Handicapped.
She has fished for piranha in the Peruvian Amazon, hiked Kilimanjaro in East Africa, swam the hot springs in Iceland and was a volunteer light house keeper on the Fire Island National Seashore. These are exciting and challenging pursuits. As Sharon sees it Audiology is also an adventure; one that lends itself to its own rewards.
